Above are notes by Jamie Rochester
on November, 1909 meeting to organize the Second Baptist Church
(in October, 1965, the church name was changed to College
Street). From the beginning, our church has given selflessly
to missions. Even at the organizational meeting, the last
sentence above records, "Then Dr. Baily asked for a collection
for State Missions and collected $2.90" (By 2001 our church had
given over $1,000,000 to the Cooperative Program.)
