Serving Walhalla and the World
Our mission to Engage, Equip, and Empower goes far beyond our own building. We are passionate about fulfilling the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) by sharing the love of Christ with our neighbors in Walhalla, SC, and with people all across the globe.
At College Street, we believe every member is a missionary. We live this out by following the simple biblical model to PRAY, GIVE, and GO.

Our Local Mission: Serving Our Community
We are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus right here in Walhalla. We do this through dedicated local ministries:
- Home Partners Ministry: This is our hands-on ministry where volunteer teams use their skills to provide home repairs and improvements for families in need in our community. We love sharing the love of Christ by maintaining, repairing, or upgrading homes, like a recent project to build a new wheelchair ramp for a local resident.
- CSBC Food Pantry: Another vital part of our local outreach is our food pantry, providing food, resources, and prayer to individuals and families in Oconee County.

Our Global Mission: Reaching the Nations
As a Southern Baptist church, we are committed to reaching the world for Christ. We do this by partnering with thousands of other churches to support missionaries through the Cooperative Program. Our giving directly funds:
- International Missions (IMB): We support thousands of full-time missionaries through the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, which sends the Gospel to unreached people groups around the world.
- North American Missions (NAMB): We help plant churches and support missionaries in the U.S. and Canada through the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering.
- Operation Christmas Child: Our entire church family actively partners with Samaritan's Purse each fall to pack shoeboxes with toys, school supplies, and hygiene items. Each box is an opportunity to share God's love with a child in need somewhere in the world.

How Can You Get Involved?
You can be a part of our mission!
- PRAY for our missionaries, our local partners, and for the hearts of those who need to hear the Gospel.
- GIVE faithfully to our general budget, which supports the Cooperative Program, and to our seasonal Lottie Moon and Annie Armstrong offerings.
- GO with us, whether it's volunteering for a Home Partners project, serving at the food pantry, or packing shoeboxes.
If you'd like to learn more or volunteer for a missions team, please let us know!
