The Music Ministry at College Street Baptist Church exists to glorify God and lead our church family in heartfelt, biblical worship. We believe worship is a vital part of our relationship with Christ, uniting us as a congregation here in Walhalla and preparing our hearts to hear from Him.
Our worship services feature a blended style, bringing together the rich, theological depth of timeless hymns and the passion of contemporary praise songs. Our goal is always to give glory and honor to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Join Our Music Family
We believe that worship isn't a performance; it's a "get-to" for the whole church family. We have several opportunities for you to use your musical gifts to serve the Lord, and we would love to have you!
- Sanctuary Choir: This is our primary worship-leading choir for the 10:30 AM Sunday service. If you love to sing and be part of a team, this is the perfect place for you. No formal audition is required! Rehearsals are Wednesdays at 7:30 PM in the Sanctuary.
- Praise Band & Vocal Team: Our band and vocal team help lead congregational singing on Sunday mornings. If you are an experienced instrumentalist (guitar, drums, keys, etc.) or vocalist, we would love to connect with you about an audition.
- C-Street Kids Choir: We have seasonal opportunities for our children to learn about worship and sing in "big church." (See the C-Street Kids page for more info).
- Special Music: Do you play an instrument or have a solo/ensemble piece you'd like to share? We often feature special music in our services.
